Scooter are back with their new single “The Only One“, after a one and a half year long pause. The single is the first track to be lifted from the new album “The Big Mash Up”, which will be released later in the summer. Released next Friday, May 20th, “The Only One” comes with the unique sound of Scooter and H.P. Baxxter's unique MC Shouts, combining to create a typical Scooter track. The accompanying video for this single has already been shot and is available on myvideo since the beginning of this week.

Because of the cancellation of the concert in Klagenfurt (financial arrangements of the local organizers were not observed), the Austrian tour operator, unfortunately, was forced to cancel the concerts in Salzburg and Imst, too. Vienna is not affected and will take place.
The band regrets these cancellations very much and is looking forward to the concert in Vienna.

Scooter slowly but surely are back from their well-deserved summer vacation.
After H.P. was seen on 'Inas Night' on german television last week, the boys are now back in their studio to record the next album. In addition to studio work there are also some interviews scheduled before they go on tour again at the end of the month. Keep eyes and ears open, because you will see and hear more from Scooter in the near future! -

Seems like Scooter is setting up new records from tour to tour! The band was able to directly take the number one spot in the official German DVD Media Control Charts with their "Scooter - Live In Hamburg" release this week. The live album went to the 14th spot of the official German album charts - an absolute great result in the band's history!

Scooter – "Stuck On Replay" which has been chosen as the official anthem for the 2010 Ice Hockey World Championships is going to be released on coming friday! Scooter will perform this song (and more) at the opening match Germany vs USA on May 7, 2010 in theVeltins Arena, Gelsenkirchen in front of a world record crowd of near 76,000. The single will be available in two versions. A 2-Track and a extended version with 6 tracks. Besides the other two official World Championships songs "Ti Sento" and "Metropolis" the non-album track "P.U.C.K." will exclusively be available on this release.

Bets came from Canada, the US, Russia, Ukraine, and even Greece – ice hockey fans all around the world took part in an online game to speculate who would provide the sound for the 2010 IIHF World Championship. The longer they speculated, the more the rumours pointed toward a German band that has made quite a splash in recent years all over the world – SCOOTER. More than 25 million recordings sold, over 80 gold and platinum records from all over the world and with 23 top ten hits, the most successful German band in chart history – those are the facts surrounding the unprecedented international triumph of the three musicians from Hamburg around front man H. P. Baxxter. Now SCOOTER will be providing their sound for the 2010 IIHF World Championship.
The official song of the 2010 IIHF World Championship will be "Stuck On Replay", produced in best arena sound. Its catchy refrain "I got this feeling down deep in my soul that I just can't lose - Guess I'm on my way" not only encourages fans to sing along, it also symbolizes the attitude that the 16 championship teams will take onto the ice with them. The song is from the latest SCOOTER album "Under The Radar Over The Top" and will be released as a single in March 2010.
